Turn Key Machines
Induction heating equipment is typically designed and built
for a particular process or work piece. The critical components
of a production machine include the power supply, material
handling mechanics, quench system, induction tooling and the
controls system. Each component must work in harmony with
one another to produce the desired production rate and expected
quality of each part.
At KVA, we understand the significance of your capital investment
and attempt to design overall systems that present flexible
options for future parts or processes. The limiting component
for most applications is the power supply. By properly sizing
the unit for future intentions, a substantial savings can
be realized over the life time of the unit.
Turnkey machines have a variety of material handling options
from fully automatic to operator dependent. Because many heat
treated parts require rotation during the heat process, lift
and rotate machines are a popular handling method. In the
lift & rotate process, the work piece is manually loaded into
a fixture which is then lifted into position within the induction
coil. This method provides quick and accurate heating.
Scanners, horizontal walking beam, rotary index and single
shot machines can be applicable to a wide range of parts.
